Vegan and Vegetarian Health and Nutrition LinksThis is not a comprehensive page of vegan health and nutrition information. It is a start for those of you who are interested in learning more about vegan health and nutrition. Since I scoured the internet for most of these links, I have not personally checked out some of the sites listed below in depth. There is a lot of great information out there about vegan health and nutrition and there is also misinformation as well, unfortunately. Please become educated on the subject matter in order to make informed, healthy decisions. Please make sure to read the ADA Position Statement on Vegetarian Diets. It contains credible information and research on vegetarian and vegan diets. Also, I highly recommend checking out the work done by Jack Norris, R.D. and Michael Greger, M.D. I have had personal contact with both individuals and find their work to be cutting-edge, credible, and a must read for all vegans and vegetarians (and future vegans and vegetarians!) who need to get the facts straight on the benefits and possible dangers of vegan and vegetarian diets.
